Rusty Diamondback - watercolor

watercolor, 2017
available, 9"x12"

Another fishing lure. This one is on that horrible Fabriano Studio paper. There were even more issues with the paper on this one. That's the reason I left some spots looking a little looser than I usually paint these lures. In spite of the fight, I'm still pretty happy with how this one works.

  4. I truly love your work. I'll have to go back and read about your trouble with Fabriano paper. I've never used it and love to learn about supplies! Happy PPF.

    1. Thanks, Jennifer! The post in question is here: https://anthonybillingsart.blogspot.com/2017/08/punta-del-morro-watercolor.html. I have since had some success with Fabriano Studio paper, but only through very carefully understanding and working around its limitations. That painting will be posted next week.
